Brandi and Dawg Boss are amazing! They helped my wife and I learn how to manage our jumpy, leash pulling, and squirrel reactive dog and now walks, Lowe's trips, and brewery visits are a breeze. The difference is night and day and Brandi has been an absolute lifesaver - they are the BEST and we couldn't recommend them more!

My dog was very hard to calm down around other dogs before we started training. As he got older we weren't able to take him anywhere with us like we used to. After training he's much calmer and we can hang out at the coffee shops with him again, and don't have to worry about him passing the other dogs in our neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Both Brittney & Brandi have changed our lives in approaching dog ownership. With each of their help, in a short span of six weeks, we turned our fearful & reactive dalmatian's life around. Heading down a road of not being able to venture out in public or be around other people & dogs, Brittney gave us our second chance at life. After six weeks of training, our last session conducted of walking along high traffic of people & other dogs in Cary Town! Brittney & Brandi followed our lead & catered towards our training goals & what was realistic for our life. She even let us design each session to best fit what behaviors we needed more work & guidance on. Her approach to training hit both positive & negative quadrants to shape a healthier mindset, boundaries to abide & good behavior. She educated us on incorporating tools like a flexi leash, prong collar, muzzle & Ecollar. Although controversial due to others improper use & knowledge, each tool was incorporated into our training at a specific point that she & I felt was appropriate & in a positive manner. Education & knowledge of how to use tools to encourage results is so important in the world of reactive dogs! I couldn't recommend Dawg Boss enough. Brittney & her team are professional, empathetic & goal driven to provide each client (both human & canine) a positive & impactful experience to bond over.

Some months ago I was fortunate to work with Britteny Howard with Dawg Boss. My dog and I had a couple of run ins with off leash dogs resulting in trips to the emergency vet and one pretty extensive surgery. After those incidents he became very reactive and I slowly began to shrink his world as a result. After our time with Britteny he is a completely different dog. He now walks nicely on the leash, is comfortable out in public and can ever hike on trails! Britteny is knowledgeable, patient and a fabulous trainer. She provided me with the tools to continue to help him and move forward. His life is significantly richer now and he and I have a much better relationship. If you are looking for a trainer and program that works look no further this is it! Edit: quick update just had an incident with a dog that “got away” from its handler. It charged my dog and me while we were on a walk. Thanks to the training that not only my dog but I received from Brittany I was able to remove my dog from the situation while simultaneously gaining control of the other persons dog. We continued our walk without further incident. I cannot thank Brittany enough for give me and my dog the skills to be able to enjoy our walks again!

We spent 6 weeks working with the trainer Brandi, and she was wonderful! Brandi was professional, enthusiastic, warm and easy to work with. She taught us a number of skills to continue working on with our reactive dog. We have seen definite improvements in our dog's behavior, and I know with continued practice we will continue to see even more change. Dawgboss makes it easy to contact them with any questions, even after our lessons were complete, and we were impressed with the tailored nature of the skills she worked on with us in each class.
