Frequently Asked Questions

Training cost depends on the needs of the dog, every dog is different and so it’s hard to give an answer without one of our trainers assessing the dog. A good place to start is our in person evaluation. This puts our trainer in your home and gets eyes on the dog. Our evaluations are 1.5-2 hours long and it is $200.00 for us to send a trainer to your home.

The in person evaluation gets our trainers to look at your dog and analyze their behavior and mental state. The trainers see things you don’t or maybe things you do see but they are looking through the lens of an animal professional and can read your dog in a matter of seconds or minutes. The evaluation is meant to address all of your concerns and to leave you with solutions that you can implement THAT day. We want you to feel like there is in fact an answer on the horizon. From there, you and your train will pick a program together to reach your ultimate goals.

We are a balanced dog training company so that means we believe in saying “Yes” and “No” to dogs. Before we are able to hold a dog accountable and say “No” we must teach them a standard. It is not fair to correct a dog for something they don’t even know is wrong.

As a balanced dog training community we support the ethical use of training tools, our trainers are experts in using training tools humanely. We do use E collars but they are not required for your dog to use any tools. We only use tools if our clients also want them in the program. It’s also important to note that E collars use the same technology as a tens unit used in medical fields and it is not an electrical current going into your dog.

While some trainers shy away from dogs that have a bite history, we turn towards them. Our staff has the necessary experience to work with aggressive dogs that need just a little refinement!

Lucky for you and your sleep we do! We potty train puppies so you don’t have to and then we teach you how to maintain the proper behaviors.

We will train any dog, even the tough cases that have bitten people or dogs. We do have safety measures in place for these types of dogs, and we educate owners on what those measures are prior to training.

Training will absolutely not ruin your dog’s personality. So much of what we think our dog’s personality is, is actually over excitement and poor behaviors. What we see happen a lot is our clients getting to know a new, and improved version of their dogs!
